View Full Version : That was a total disgrace.
Blue shirts. At home.
Someone said "yeah but their first kit is red and black". So? That's their problem to bring a kit that works.
Playing at home in an away kit, and not even a proper away kit. #HIAH

Yes apparently they only have 2 kits, one red and one white, both would have created an issue so our kind nature came to the fore. Why would they have or need a third kit.
We also played Chambers and Welbeck to underline this generosity.
I shall leave IUFG to deal with Iwobi.

I think these home/away kit issues should be decided between the kit manager's the day before. With a few rounds of bare knuckle boxing. Or, perhaps a nice game of Connect 4 ?

It always used to be the convention in European football that when there was a kit clash the home team changed (see also rugby where Scots always change at home to France and vice-versa). The blue kit is a ****ing abomination though. We could have worn the same kit as the first leg

he was merely a shít**** amongst shít****s, last night.
He was tackled in the centre circle and stood and watched as the Ostersund player jogged, yes I said jogged, towards our goal with the ball. He actually stood and watched.
Back when we were proper shít it was at least amusing watching terrible players run around like headless chickens.
Last night was not amusing. Last night was a disgrace.

Same in amateur or kids' football, simply as a practical matter; the home side is more likely to have a change kit on hand. I understand Reading and Preston are the only clubs that never have to change their colours in the event of a clash, home or away.

I wouldn't be surprised if we do, la.
Some of those who played last night need to take a long, hard look in a mirror and ask themselves whether they really are being the best they can be.

I'll be honest, I was a bit tipsy by the time the game came on. Did we win?

I would expect 3 of the side from last night to be in Sunday’s 11, 4 were it not for being cup tied.
This was not a “kids” team as we have seen before in various cup games, dead rubbers if you will, it was a relatively strong side.
Now at no point did I ever think we were in trouble of going out but still the performance was so poor that it simply must raise legitimate questions about the manager’s stewardship. Harsh perhaps but he is ultimately responsible.
In summary, Wenger out.
