The pain and swelling have gone and the antibiotics are over.

However I am still deaf and it's doing my head in. feels like liquid in my ears and I can hear my own breathing.

It's only been a week but I have already started to develop a deaf voice and doing deaf faces.

I had one of these ear infections when I was younger...painful indeed.

Had to have a couple of follow up appointments with a specialist to check the ear and make sure it wasn’t returning.

Oh dear, f. Much as I love you, I'm afraid I'd have to shun you if you became a deafoid.

I can't be doing with the deaf - they freak me out. Give me a blindoid any day of the week.

Maybe she could top up her income even further by suing some football clubs for not having signers interpreting the chants from the crowd, hence denying her the full matchday experience of "Alexis Sanchez, he left cos you're shít!"

She's doing a cracking job in ensuring those with disabilities, such as deafness, enjoy the entertainments industry.

What next, a 'artifact describer' in art galleries for the visually impaired?

Teachers everywhere to explain stuff to the hard of thinking?

I'm sorry, but total deafness pretty much excludes you from enjoying music. Unless it is a Leftfield gig where you can see the bass, never mind feel it.

This is a tragedy Fash for a deaf man will have no further use for his guitar collection.

The good news however, is that I am prepared to take the collection on (for a fair price of course*)

*will absolutely rinse you.
