Look, I am a Tory and think there are extremely serious questions that need to be asked about the behaviour of the Met. I also find Labour’s posturing on this utterly ludicrous given what they’ve been prepared to overlook from the likes of that repellent reptile Keith Vaz.

However, when you say it’s what every man does, I have to take issue. Do you know how many times in 20+ years of working I have accessed pornography via my work computer? Not once. Why? Because a/ it’s a creepy thing to do in the workplace and b/ because it’s gross misconduct and thus a sackable offence.

So on that level, I have zero sympathy for the silly cùnt.
