It is but there are further restrictions that have to be met, no group can have more than 2 UEFA countries for example.

Ireland can't be in Spain's group, or France, or Germany.

I have just had a flashback to when the FAI asked FIFA to create an extra space to make up for Thierry’s handball.

:hehe:

Because that would have worked.

And then there was the public demonstration outside the French Embassy in Dublin.

I will be honest with you IUFG, I had no problem defending him/it as an act that any footballer would have done and one that nobody would have cared about had we done it.

Nearly got lively a few times I tell you.

good man, sw.

If any Arsenal player didn't at least attempt the same as Henry did, in the same type of situation, I would hound them forever.

Small city, you would quite often bump into ‘celebrity’ mooching around.

Met Kevin Rowland one day up by Stephens Green, lovely man, had a wee chat with him. The met Mike Scott a few days later and emboldened with my newfound celebrity conversational techniques I spoke to him.

Fúcking weirdo.

Argentina might be in trouble.

They scrapped through thanks to a Messi hat trick in the last game.

Iceland are stubborn and can can cause a shock, Nigeria recently beat them and Croatia are classy on their day.

Still backing Brazil...nice 3 games to get them into top gear.

Host sides always get an easy group.

Like England in all qualifying groups.
