Of all of the final qualifiers this is the most interesting for me.

Peru are heavy odds on favourites to qualify after coming through the South America group but who did they really beat?

Chile have been getting slower, more boring and more predictable and Argentina’s neeeded a Lionel Messi hat trick on the last day to qualify.

Peru basically slipped in by the skin of their teeth...basically in the last 10 minutes of qualify..so it’s not like they’re world beaters.

New Zealand on the other hand have crushed the Oceania group senseless and despite a couple of recent defeats (one of this was against Australia when resting players and the other was close contest despite having a player sent off in the 1st half) I thought they were excellent last time out vs the Barbarians....a little shaky in the 1st half but their class showed in the 2nd half.

Their speed, movement, power and kicking game will be too much for Peru.

The likes of Seta Tamanivalu, Nathan Harris and TJ Perenera are in a different league to Peru.

Max bet on New Zealand to qualify imo

How can a team with Alexis Sanchez in it become slower, more boring and more predictable, t?

Also NZ haven't even picked any of the Barritts ffs

It seems to have happened at Arsenal.

Actually, maybe that was your point.

1st Leg is at the imposing Cake Tin...many a side have succumbed to the might of the Kiwis there...England, the Springboks, Wallabies, Pumas...the Lions got a result there but only after the got Sonny Bill sent off!

The chile comment was based on what I saw in the confederations Cup.

Everything looked so slow and laboured and this was against a Germany B team.

Wonder what the Peruvians will make of the Hakka?

They don’t have that sort of thing in their neck of the woods imo

They will be performing a wonderful version of "Let it go" on the pan pipes
