Speaking of sheepskin coats, John 'Motty' Motson was commentating on the Arsenal game on MOTD on Saturday. Well, the fake commentary that MOTD do anyway. Can you believe he's still alive, let alone still commentating? He was doing it when we were knee high to a grasshopper and Arsenal were finishing 17th.

I assumed Brian Moore supported Arsenal, because we were on so often and always first. It took me a while to work out the whole London Weekend Television thing.

It still always shocks me that live league football wasn't televised at all until the mid-80s.
