Not really sure how well the Spanish government thought the optics of black-clad riot policemen beating and using rubber bullets on women and old people who are trying to vote peacefully were going to play out, tbh.

There was a point yesterday when local police were protecting voters from the Guardia Civile. They're on the verge of civil war, for fúck's sake!

In other news, Alans kill people in Canada and in France and it barely merits a mention in the news. Truly, we have a new reality.

Yes. All it would have taken would have been for one side to draw on the other and that would have been that. Can't be long before it happens.

Yes. It seems we are barely even reacting anymore when a woman's throat is slit at a railway station by a man screaming about his revolting god. Weird, weird times.
