We haven't had summer yet.

This is distressing.

Football content: Sanchez and Ozil will sign new contracts in January. Trust me in this matter.

It didn't get above 25'C here once this summer. Now it's around 13/14'C :-(

Winter is coming.

My word, but that's pretty. Whilst I disapprove, I wish you joy of your purchase.

Equinoxes, C. Stuff the 'meteorological' gubbins.

12 months, 4 seasons. December, January, February, winter. March, April, May, spring. June, July, August, summer. September, October, November, autumn.

That's just science.

March is basically winter though. December is distinctly autumnal, and so on through to September, which is therefore still summer. And the sun is shining.

So Just Rejoice!

March is definitely spring. I know this because when I was 18 I got on a train one day at the beginning of March and felt the merest glimmer of warmth from a shaft of sunlight touching my face; this seemed to me to confirm the departure of winter and the return of spring. So there.

Port Stanley has fallen? Hurrah!

Yes but that was when you were eighteen. One or two years may have passed since then and the rules seem to have changed. Perhaps the climate has, at least. All the seasons have shifted on a month, basically.
