:hehe: :triggered:

I understand that there is a Labour MP now claiming that she wouldn't socialise with a Tory because they're the 'enemy'.

I so, so wish we could have a simple civil war and give these lunatics the oppression they so earnestly desire.

I thought something would have kicked off by now, at least a riot of some sort.

I picture a bunch of people in abandoned car park one side using traditional methods and the others turning up macbooks and elaborate (and quite unnecessary) coffees. (sorry Jorge)

Civility and a faith in the decency and sincerity of your political opponents - these things are anathema to extremists.

Some *might* say you don't apply much civility or faith in the decency and sincerity of your political opponents.

Nonsense. I can respect people like Peter and Ash as sincere and decent in spite of the fact that I believe them to be utterly misguided.

Inflexible, half-witted ideologues like Corbyn etc al, on the other hand, I despise because they're dangerous and profoundly cynical.

In fairness, I do seem to recall Neil Kinnock saying the same thing, many, many years ago.

To be fair, Harman is generally regarded as being one of the biggest ****s the Labour Party has ever witnessed. An utter piece of **** is pretty much the universal opinion at Westminster.

Although on the subject of Thatcher she isn't too far wrong. Just typically idiotic about it.
