Man 200+ years ago had problematic opinions. Solution: take his statue down.

I was moved to comment.

My comment was somewhat intemperate.

It was modded.

Did your comment point out the sheer historical illiteracy necessary to take this view? Or the logical conclusions of telling people that their history is rendered invalid because of anachronistic concerns about race?

It was mainly just abusive, to be fair.

I tread a pretty fine line on there to avoid getting banned, so I never use bad language. I simply point out how absurd they are.

They delete these truths, of course. But I feel I'm fighting the good fight anyway.

I never used bad language, either. Didn't save me.

Mind you, I took a fairly robust line about the transers, which I think meant my cards were marked. :-(

If you must use pompous Latin phrases b at least deploy them correctly.

Again, I'm afraid I have to agree here. Everyone knows Nelson was a right ****. I've been saying it for years.

Actually I don't suppose they care about swearing, given that they are Godless, heathen ****s with precisely zero morals, so I'm probably wasting my time; I should just give them both barrels.

Did he really oppose abolition as vehemently as this Guardianista claims? If so, then I am on your side from a moral standpoint but I still wouldn't sanction removing his statue. I sense the article under scrutiny here was a tad tongue in cheek and the swivel eyed right, c and b, have been reeled in.

Reductio ad absurdam is the means whereby the premise of an argument can be disproved by taking it to its logical - and absurd - conclusion. In this context it is entirely apt.

Besides, the nearest you ever got to a grasp of Latin is the coitus interruptus that led to the best part of you dripping down your mother's arse crack, you shambling homunculus.

Who cares? He repeatedly thrashed the Frogs, rogered Lady H and, when in doubt, went straight at 'em.

Hurrah!

Me abusive! Have you seen the vitriol I have had to endure from your little concubine Berni for simply pointing out that he has cited a propositional technique incorrectly. And do you admonish him, no you do not!

I have studied the Predicate and Propositional Calculii to BSc Hons. level c so you can trust me on this. ( After I gave up pulling jobbies out of jobbie pipes - and yer mum's arse of course).

I rather admired his prose. You merely called me 'swivel-eyed'.

A right wing loon I may be. Swivel-eyed I reject.

Never mind all that. When do we get to tear down all the statues of Churchill? And piss on Thatcher's grave?

I very much doubt it. I was just having a laugh.

I believe he did make some rather homophobic jokes on board his ships.

Attlee presided over our catastrophic withdrawal from India, costing millions of lives, so I want that one down, too.

And Highgate Cemetery is going to lose it's biggest tourist attraction, too.

I have little doubt that the day is rapidly approaching when this will happen, and I very much hope you and your fellow liberals of the SWP enjoy this hellhole world you have created. You can all sit around together with your unwashed hair and your so-called drugs and think of new and exciting ways to defile our once-great civilisation. Perhaps you can even sodomise each other, for you have made such bestial behaviour perfectly acceptbale.

He took a dim view of people rising up against their monarchs and some of his actions in Naples left a certain amount to be desired. Oh, and he pounded the shīte out of Copenhagen, but who cares, really?

I do not dabble in drugs, p. Drugs fund terrorism and befuddle the mind.

A gentleman needs no drug other than decent claret and love for his country.

Of course. Tougher times and, since the ethos of the Royal Navy at the time was very much a form of legalised piracy, some robustness was hardly to be wondered at.

Nelson was a great man who saved this country and paid the ultimate price.

He saved this country so that all the ****s who have moved in can complain about him instead of staying in the racist, sexist bankrupt countries with kleptomaniac rulers which they have created.
