They speak welsh up there, at least they do when they know that some saxon pigdogs are listening.

It's like a foreign country.

Mountains, though.

When I look at it, it always amazes me that the Romans marched a bloody great army over that lot to crush the druids in Anglesey. And then they marched all the way back to batter Boudicca.

Tough bunch of lads, your Romans were.

The glw is determined we recce it in case it's suitable for retirement. Mountains and sea, apparently. And welshers:-(

There must be an airstrip up there somewhere, Shirley? Route west over the Brecons before heading north roughly following the A470. Obviously this is weather dependent as a the area if often blighted by low hill fog.

Mountains? Fog? Changeable weather conditions? Light aircraft?

What could possibly go wrong?

Fvcking hell. Thank you, Charles Lindbergh.

I give you a practical and enjoyable solution to the diabolical drive and you react with disdain.

I shall think twice before trying to help in future.

Yes. You also have to look out for the Heddlu. I remember it took me ages to work out that Gwasanaethau wasn't a town, but just meant services. Very confusing how every road seemed to lead there.

When matters of aviation arise, why must you inevitably become supercilious, disagreeable and often downright unpleasant?

I listen to a more than is normal amount of music in the Welsh language.

Obviously normal is a contentious term here as a lot of people, non-Welsh people, would argue that none is normal.

:nono: It's not a patch on the lakes. Castles, though. And don't forget to try and use your English Heritage cards to get in. Always good for a laugh that one.

How would you feel if some know nothing tried to tell you how to pull jobbis out of a pipe?
