Better hope Spurs don't make the CL next season cos Alexis can easily join then Sol23 style.

Do you believe that, T, or are we just playing hardball?

theres to many inconsistencies here to be sure of anything.

He wants CL football now but if we had qualified would he have signed a new contract given out appaling record in the competition?

Why Man City? When he fell out with Pep at Barca and City have just as bad a record in the competition.

Can't be a money issue because he can make so much more by leaving on a free.

...

One option no one has mentioned is him signing a new contract but we loan him out for the season so he can play his CL football...this could work but Arsene probably wants him playing in the team now.

Personally wouldn't mind selling him now considering there are options available.

Not on Daniel's payroll, he won't imo.

I'd want to keep him if we were in the Champions League, but if we're not .. As you say, other options available.

Alexis does like Wembley though.

More motive to play at Wembley if he quits international football after the World Cup.

Very taxing pitch and those long haul flights will destroy him.

Another angle I like is the potentiometer swap deals. Happy for to go to City and PSG if Aguero and Draxler are part of the deals.

Agreed. If he wants to leave, for whatever reason, I won't like it but there's not much we can do.
