View Full Version : James Rodriguez to Bayern on a 2 yr loan
then an option to buy for €35m......all very odd (on Real's end). Bayern can't lose

Lessens their wage bill by a tidy sum I imagine.
Purchased from Monaco who signed him at the time of their enormous spending and at the time when his career was peaking during the WC of 2014.
Arguably more dispensable than Morata also.

Still think they could have punted him out to a PL side and got £50m+ for him. He's only 25

How much are Bayern paying for the 2 yr loan?? Makes you think Real might not sell anyone to chelsea which leaves their forward situation "interesting"

Indeed though only a handful of PL sides he would be willing to join I would have thought.
Us and City don't want or need him, United appears to be looking elsewhere while Chelsea are all over the place and Spurs appear to be hiding and hoping the summer ends soon.
