Yes, I was actually. Picking my son's gear up from his school. ̶W̶a̶n̶k̶e̶r̶s̶ Bother.

Perhaps, but I understand Napoleon once made it as far as Köln. There's even a plaque there acknowledging the occassion.

Oh, yes, but it wasn't really Germany, then. It was a bunch of half-arsed principalities, dukedoms and Prussia.
