the 2017 American standard series is interesting.
Also Fender can't put Made in the USA on their guitars anymore due to some California laws.
it just says Corona California on the new models.

:nono: Commonly held misconception. That's a hybrid, a Tele body with an Esquire neck, much modified over the years.

It may be heresy to say it, but is a Tele not just a precursor to a Strat really?

SG is my preference. I love the Gibson growl too. I like my strat but only the Neck pick up it sounds great but otherwise it's a bit wimpy.
Tele is tempting if I want to learn some country stuff. I may have already have a tele :hide: but it's in my parents loft as it's junk.
