Our three centre backs could be Beckenbauer, Krol and Baresi and we'd still get stuffed.
They are simply a much better team than us :shrug:

I completely accept they are a much better team than us, indeed in every area of the pitch one could debate, however my less sunny than normal disposition is based on us not even being able to play our best players.
No Koscielny through his utter fúcking stupidity and now it appears likely no Mustafi.

So tha option of Nacho slotting in is now going unless we Theo wants to play left wing back for the day :( can't believe this is actually a valid option now.
Holding-Per-Monreal still our best bet...anything but the back 4.

Don't panic. Big Per is currently soaking in a bath of WD40. He should be just about mobile by Sat.

Might get away with Per as he obviously a very good defender and the often main complaint around him is based on pace specifically lack of, working in a back 3 may even suit this.
However, and please correct me if I am wrong, he has played less than 90 minutes in the entire f**king season.

He does always score at Wembley though. Worth a try, imo.
