No idea but given that nothing happened - ie no-one has left the club been punished or anything one can only assume he is exaggerating and trying to create a big mystery about why we were so crap for several games.

Trying to spin it as a one off that he couldn't have done anything about. In truth, it was nothing out of the ordinary at all. It's the same bad spell we run into around that time every year. His stale management is probably the biggest factor.

But, hang on, that's pretty much what happens every season. Wenger always manages to redeem himself by winning a string of games against mid - lower table opposition. It creates an excited air of expectation about the place.
If only we didn't have to play against those basterd top 4 or 5 clubs every year.
