have some modicum of fûcking warmth, please? It's as cold as a tart's kiss out there.

Failing that, could we at least have some rain so that we don't have to keep watering, ffs?

Global warming my fûcking hole imo.

I think it's been rather pleasant, if a touch breezy. Get yourself out of the wind and it's lovely.

Agree on the watering thing, though. Put the sprinkler on Sunday and forgot about it. Looked out of the window on Monday morning to see it still spurting water everywhere. Garden is now like a swamp :-(

The wind is easterly. It should be south-westerly this time of year. It's all wrong.

Climate change. The only solution is to tax diesel cars more heavily, that will fix it.

This confuses me. I always thought diesel was bad. Then it became all the rage and it's good
now it's bad again?

My car is diesel. £20 road tax based on the emissions.

Not sure what car to get next. :rubchin: wife wants a Audi A1 or Range rover Evoque,

It's good in relation to CO2, so was encouraged. Not quite so great on emissions and particulates and contribute massively to urban pollution so about to be taxed.

Jesus H Titty Christ, f. I remember advising you perfectly clearly at the time that unless you cover more than 15 or 20,000 miles a year, a diesel will cost you more to buy, more to maintain and will drive like a piece of leaden cráp.

I might as well talk to my fúcking self.

YOU'RE STILL NOT LISTENING! The saving in fuel is going to work out far less than the additional costs of buying and running a diesel. I TOLD YOU THAT TWO YEARS AGO!

Fúck's sake. I'm going out now, I'm got the hump.

I didn't plan opn buying it Sir C. it just happened. I went to take the Panda for a MOT come home with a new car
stupidly I had just paid for the MOT.

Bit silly really probably the most expensive regular purchase I've made and probably spent the most time thinking about it.

Now now, is there any need for language like that? You may be surprised to note that I don't often find myself lapping Silverstone of a Tuesday evening. So in 99% of conditions, I don't care too much for poise and refinement around the bends.

Climate change, innit. The seasons have all shifted a month or two later in the year. Hence december is mild with leaves still falling off the trees, and May is spring showers and bracing breezes.

I can't remember ever before having the heating on at night in May. :snow:
