View Full Version : Presumably victory on Sunday would merely be "papering over the cracks"?

Is it even worth us turning up, if winning will mean so little?

This concept of which you speak, 'victory' and 'winning'. Tell us more, it sounds intriguing.

When did we last beat Premier League opposition again? It feels like last year.

Hull on February 11 - ridiculously the last time we actually had a home game in the premier league

Mark Clattenberg had a blinder. Alexis handball goal, Gibbs not sent off, late penalty for handball - their guy sent off. All in all a terrific afternoon's fun

Although I must admit, I kept thinking it was Burnley we played - that was a different injury time penalty

I'm not sure we've had a good league game since we beat Chelsea way back when. We've scraped wins against teams we should be whipping. And our football has rarely been pretty.

It would be fair to say we had 2 very fortunate wins against Burnley.
