He is free to sign a contract with a club of his choosing if in the last six months of his deal. So he could sign the deal in Jan, see out next season with us and then move for free.

No he couldn't.. he could sign a contract with aforeign club next Jan... I don't THINK he can sign a pre contract with an English club

That's if he wants to be there. If his effort drops 10% then he's not the same player.

Alexis is going to go, no question. Hopefully when we've gotten rid of Wenger we can learn to live, and love, again. But Alexis is a little street urchin and thus cannot be expected to embrace such concepts as altruism, loyalty, heterosexuality. :-D
