Yes. You just know that he thought 'Hmmm..that John Harris goes round the country talking to people and everyone says his stuff's good. I'll do the same."

What he forgets, of course, is that John Harris (while I disagree with him on most political issues) is actually a good journalist, who reports what he actually finds and not what he wants to see.
