Work are saying the tube network is shut down so just wondering about her route to Victoria. She could walk to Blackfriars anyway.

Yes, but equally she could walk to Euston and go to Aberdeen, but since she lives in neither Aberdeen nor Orpington, neither option appears ideal. ;-)
