View Full Version : It's a bit disappointing that old Googly-eyes jacked it in when things went wrong.

You'd expect a German to show a bit of backbone and at least, well, play. Sitting at home sulking seems a little churlish.

Perhaps he's more Turk than German. But still.

**** him, the ****. Selling him and Sanchez would've created a nice little warchest for Allegri.

Spineless coward imo. Sell him with Alexis.

The only good thing about Arsene staying is that it may help us temp Griezmann here.

I've been meaning to speak to you about the intemperate nature of your discourse, young b. Sweary rage is no way to make your view appear reasonable; indeed, such language will most likely alienate your audience and undermine your point.

See Arsenal Fan TV for proof.

Would that they were mine to sell, r. Were this to be the case I would most assuredly accede to your demand but, alas, I have no agency in this matter.

Sorry, C. I can't hit a toddler so need to get the rage out somewhere.

Fair enough b. You could wait for the missus to get home and give her a good hiding? I believe that's allowed now you have the newfangled sharia law in place.

You are implying that Billy has allowed her out of the house unaccompanied. Are you mad?

As long as she is fully covered and accompanied by her brother, it is acceptable.

 This is why paternal leave is a bad idea. Real men aren't built for the care of tiny children. We don't have the maternal instinct that allows women to overlook the fact that small children are irritating little fückpigs about 90% of the time.

It's an absolute nightmare. All he does is run around trying to do as much life threatening stuff as possible and i'm having to chase after him. Add to that his mother giving him some kiwifruit over the weekend to soften up his stools (he's been a bit constipated recently) and now the results of this natural laxative have started to reveal themselves today and i'm left to clean up the horrible mess :-(

You've got a loose-bowelled toddler on your hands. :-( I blame socialism.

Right. Women have a natural patience which allows them to take all that in their stride. And children need their mother's care and attention until they are about four or five anyway. In fact, it's actually the one area sex/gender matter.

But please don't tell the women's lib people I said that.

It does look like he chucked it in well before his injury, real or otherwise

Trouble is, the Germans don't like it up 'em nowadays. They practically start to blub even if you just call them a few saucy names.

Still, they're going to have to learn fast #erdogan

Disagree, red. I loved taking care of my two when they were toddlers. Greatest things in the world are toddlers.

Spend the day taking care of them, playing with them, feeding them, putting them to bed, then a takeaway in front of the telly with Spanish football on.

Life doesn't get any better than that. :cloud9:

It's not about what anybody likes though, is it. It's about what's right, what works.

The style I described has survived the centuries, the generations; your way will be lucky to survive *you*.

Oh, I don't know. If you could track the amount of time the average father spends taking care of his children over the years I'm pretty sure you would find a consistent and steadily increasing trend which started around the 50s and is alive and well even today.

And as things seem to keep getting better, it feels like that is a good thing that will continue. See BGS.

You just need to study European birth rate trends now :-)

I would assume that like most of the developed world, they are declining.

But like fathers being more active in the raising of their children, I see this as a (mostly) good thing.

Then you'd be correct, twice; it's such a good thing that fewer and fewer people are choosing to do it :homer:
