Last week I was seeing a lot of posturing from Millwall fans on Facebook, preparing themselves for the carnage they were going to wreak at the Lane.

So they shouted 'DVD' at an Asian player. That's fúcking hard, isn't it?

:hehe: I see they are at the cutting edge of racism.

What happened to those DVD sellers by the way?

If you took the time to look through their catalouge of DVDs they had some very obscure titles.

They even had Ice hockey documentaries. They used to appear out of nowhere in pubs almost in a ghostly like manner.

According to Keith Hackett, had Martin Atkinson heard the DVD chants he would have abandoned the game.

Yeah, course he would, Keith :hehe:

I'm not sure those chants count as racist, tbf. It's not like they called him a dog-eating cünt or anything.

Yes. There was an economy of effort and accuracy to it that was most aesthetically pleasing. Sets himself, throws it straight to the face and down he goes. I imagine it made him feel a lot better about things.

I feel the extent to which the stupid cünt deserved it and the fact that he was approached straight on after baiting a group of Millwall fans mitigates any sucker punch elements of it. If he didn't see that coming, it's his own stupid fault.

To be fair, though, if you choose to sdtand in the street singing songs taking the píss out of Millwall at Millwall you ought to be expecting a punch, surely?

 It's like people have forgotten the rules. Also, men who wear flat caps at Millwall matches are invariably going to be hoolies or ex-hoolies.

He did deserve it however it does break the unwritten rule of gentlemanly conduct between chaps who want to fight at football, being that they only fight with likeminded souls who also wish to.

The injured party was merely singing, albeit rather foolishly.

I accept the Peaky Blinders market stall trading Millwall chap took offence but he could have simply approached him and asked him to desist.

Yes, but the flat cap (invariably encasing a shaven skull) is a particular giveaway.

Yer singing fellow knew what was likely to occur.

No idea why but I assumed this altercation was pre-match.

Having been footballistically humped by 6-0 I expect the Millwall bloke would have perhaps really kicked fúck out of him.

Mind you, if we're talking about not taking defeat well, the Millwall bloke has a lot to learn from this Robot Wars contestant.
