A genuinely frightening individual who, one suspects, would have been just as happy killing people for the other side - just as long as he got to kill people.

I come not to bury Wenger but to praise him. His time may well be up with us but that, for me, is no excuse to mock and belittle the finest manager we've had.

I would not begrudge him a final hurrah with Barcelona or whoever when he leaves in the summer.
