:hehe: as if Vermaelen would have been fit enough to play :hehe: Five years ago to today exactly. Four days after I landed in Germany, two days after I started work here. Watched the second leg with your glw - or at least the second half of the second leg. She arrived after we scored the three goals. Such happy memories

Not even a Milan side perceived as being particularly strong.

God bless the Arsenal.

I had high hopes with Vermaelen. He had made me to be believe he was a hardman character when he first joined due to his chiseled cheek bones.

Barely a footballer. Would like to know when he started playing **** for us though.
In 2012, Vermaelen began dating English glamour model and TV presenter Polly Parsons. The couple have two sons, Raff and Ace.

From recollection Vermaelen arrived and seemed to score more than a normal amount of goals for a defender, at which point he was lauded as being brilliant. I think we had a certain poster, south coast based retard, who argued in fact that he was a world class footballer.

Then slowly all began to realise that despite his goals he was a defender and in this respect there was flaws, large ones, positional sense being one.

Then he got injured and appeared to be more injured than even the most injured.

Then in a remarkable twist Barcelona paid us about £12m for him

And we, or some of us, have the sheer gall to accuse other clubs of strange and suspect transfer dealings.
