I purchased 4 sirloin steaks (from Leeds market) to cook for the family tonight.... I will keep it nice and simple otherwise the kids will refuse to eat it

I am going on the way home. I hope I have not left it too late. I really should have planned this a bit better.

I like to cook my steaks in butter.

I purchased 4 sirloin steaks (from Leeds market) to cook for the family tonight.... I will keep it nice and simple otherwise the kids will refuse to eat it

:nod: Just put them in a roasting dish, cover with chopped onions and water, cover with foil and roast at 160 for 4 or 5 hours :irish:

Yes. Not too much, though.

Once - and I'm not proud of this - I bought Hollandaise in a jar to make Eggs Benedict because I couldn't be arsed doing the real thing.

My wife not only noticed, but told me that a repeat of this incident could well lead to divorce proceedings. :-( Spoiled, you see?

My wife doesn't like tarragon.

Tarragon is my favourite herb.

We never have tarragon.
