Sadly, the events of the last 70 years appear to have passed the poor fellow by. :-(

I know Dutch magazines that don't even publish in Dutch, ffs!

I READ YOUR INFORMATION NEWS WITH O LOT OF INTEREST.

HOWEVER, I LIKE TO KNOW IF THE NEWS IS ALSO IN A DUTCH VERSION AVAILABLE.

IF SO ,I LIKE TO HAVE THE NEWS IN DUTCH.

He's probably from the deep south, Maastricht or some such nonsense. They're almost Belgian.

Well this is why I'm surprised. Not only do most Dutch have a much better grasp of English than that, they're also generally very realistic about the place of Dutch in the hierarchy of languages these days.

Perhaps he is a Wilders-inspired nationalist? Or possibly just a thick ****. I'll be fair, he sounds like a thick ****.
