It's rather fun. And it's based on the real Viking saga of Ragnar Hairy-Trousers (true story).

I watched the first series and half the second one - very enjoyable. Must watch the rest. Would fit in well on LA TV (one episode of each a night*, none of this binge watching series). Currently working my way through

King of the High Castle
Narcos
Parks and Recreation

with the off bit of Beeb nonsense thrown in (Only Connect :swoon: Death in Paradise for light relief and Uncle)
*non pub nights obviously

Done Parcs and Rec. Done Narcos. Lost interest in King of the High Castle since nothing happened.

:hehe: I kind of quite like that about King of the High Castle, but I get your point. I wish people would stop making TV for a while though - you can see how far I have to catch up

Filmed in Ireland of course.

I am good mates with a bloke whose wife's sister works on the make up.

hah - an Irish friend of mine here also knows someone in it. He's about 6ft 10 so just hangs around in the background looking scary

Sure that would be Mick from Termonfeckin. His father was a great corner back.

yes - she was lovely too. Shame she left. Sure they could have found room for both.

Yes, I think they use Ireland to represent 8th Century England. Which seems about right.

Indeed. At least it *is* a lady.

Yes, I remember as kid not being quite sure about "Vicky" but I can't remember if it was the voice or something else

I know what you mean. *It* is called 小さなバイキング, in the original Japanese, if that helps :-\
