No, it goes back further. Sir C traces it back to BFR calling Marcel Desailly nasty names, but I'd go back to the death of Diana, when it suddenly became OK for every cünt to go around spunking their precious fücking 'feelings' all over the place in public and - rather than being mocked and reviled for these acts of emotional masturbation as would have been right and proper, they were told their 'feelings' were valid and right.

It was all bets off after that. Much that had been good about the country was just thrown away. :-(

We've all turned in to scousers?
some people say we've turned american. I think we were influenced by them but have gone this weird new path.

No. It's the socialist education system that sowed the seeds. Teachers from the 60s on have encouraged children to think their feelings mattered and that - however stupid they were - they had a right to be taken seriously. They've also brainwashed children to see racism, sexism, bullying, homophobia, etc in absolutely everything and told them that any reaction to these things - however excessive and narcissistic - is unquestionably correct. They have made a virtue of victimhood such that it is now the highest state to which anyone it seems can now aspire. The victim is always right, always truthful, always vindicated.

Thus, simply brushing these things off or sorting them out among yourselves is now discouraged in favour of public displays of angry, solipsistic victimhood. And, when these little victims emerge, blinking into the real world, everything outrages them.
