Not really.

Imagine the smell at one of those marches. A heady mix of unwashed hippy, patchouli oil and sanctimony.

I saw this 'woman' on her hands and knees screaming NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO repeatedly as Trump was inaugurated.

I hope she has lost her voice the annoying cund.

There are a bunch of people who are all mixed up and outraged. They just do whatever they are told.
It's a women's march against trump yet they are sporting t-shirts of other movements such as black lives matter, We love the EU.

Which leads me to believe they will protest anything.

I just don't know why they have to drag their vaginas into everything these days. :-( There is a large section of women whose genitals I am much happier never having to think about, thank you.

Having thousands of women no man in his right mind would touch with a ten-foot pole screaming about their precious noo-noos on television is more than my delicate stomach can take, I'm afraid. :puke:

My niece went. She at least has the excuse of being 18 and, as such, stupid, I suppose.

I was marching up an escalator at Waterloo on saturday when the way was obstructed by a giant home-made cardboard sign saying "Pleeease America, think again!" or something similar. "Get that fùcking stupid thing out of the way" I snarled, as I was in a hurry. The owner looked geniunely shocked. Had I not been in such a hurry I might have engaged him in conversation to explain my position by saying something like "look, PAL, When and If Trump invades Iran I'll be shoulder-to-shoulder with you to protest but at this point NOTHING HAS ACTUALLY HAPPENED YET".

Person with the placard clearly also has no idea how the political system in the US works.......or for that matter quite how hated Hillary Clinton is

Perhaps they thought the election was only 'advisory', although they might be forgiven for believing that the CIA gets to veto the vote if they don't like it.

What were these women marching about? Was it anti Trump?
They're American women who live in a country of opportunity. They're respected and have the same rights as everyone else... so what are they complaining about?

That was my other thought, if you want to protest about Women's rights, there are an awful of other countries that your ire should be directed at

Do they not also see how incredibly presumptuous and ill-mannered it is to go around lecturing Americans on their choice of President? What the fück has it to do with us?

The preoccupation with vaginas is particularly odd given these people are always so keen to tell us you don’t need one to be considered female.

It makes sense to protest about your own government, when they've actually done something specific, so when Trump proposes a bill to start putting women in concentration camps or legalising all pussy-grabbing or whatever he's supposed to be doing, then fair enough.

Over here though, if women are protesting about women's issues overseas (in US) they might also want to check out Saudi Arabia, for example.

To be fair, what is actually wrong with pre-emptively protesting against a proposed policy?? It might make him rethink

Well in this instance it won't, since the sort of people protesting are exactly who Trump's base want to see upset. Their anger is very much a feature of a Trump presidency rather than a bug as far as his voters are concerned.
And that's the other thing: the sheer ineffectuality of such protests. Trump knows these people will never vote for him, so he gives absolutely zero fücks what they think about anything. And as for what the contents of Islington think about his Presidency, I'm sure he gives a minus number of fücks.
This wasn't a pre-emptive protest about policies, this was just a mass hissy fit from self-indulgent virtue-signallers.

Well, on LGBT issues, for exmple, Trump is pretty liberal, despite the fact that his core voter base is not. So he is not entirely impervious to the progressive agenda. Don't see why this protest might not rein him back on an issue like abortion.

Not one of the sheep bleating away because that's what their mates are doing have an issue with a policy proposal. 99% of them have no idea what his policy proposals might be. They're just protesting because.

Here is a typical example of such a brainless ****.

Why would it rein him back? These people literally think he's Hitler, so nobody takes them at all seriously.

Anyway, it's all academic, 'cos David Shayler's announced the Apocalypse.

Oh, if the protest had been a specific right-to-choose on abortion in response to a specific piece of proposed legislation then fine - in the US. It would still be ridicules for women here to join in though.

Quite. They were out in force in Stockholm supporting their female friends in the US over trump, yet on the same weekend a woman was gang raped live on facebook and not a ****ing peep. Got to love those conflicted feminists.

Mind you, the 'We Shall Overcomb' banner made me smile.

Dear God. Did she really just say that the NHS is her favourite thing about the EU?

And then that 'everybody' is devastated because that's what her social media shows?

And holding a Socialist Worker placard, she says that David Cameron was her choice for PM because he's not Tony Blair?

What the **** has happened to this country? When I was in the SWSS as an 18 year old at the LSE in 1989, we came out with some real crap, but nothing as idiotic as that.

At least she's not gopping ugly though. Most of them are absolute munters.
