On Diego Garcia, the assembled CIA operatives chuckle and glance at the hangar within which the 777 is hidden away. In the undergrowth behind the hangar the jungle is reclaiming the rich soil above the pit filled with the remains of the passengers and crew.

Now the time has come to pack the fuselage with the explosives and programme the GPS for Washington...

It's a bit strange they looked for Madeline McCann for longer and that's just one girl.

Indeed. Particularly odd since we're all pretty sure what happened to Maddy, while the plane thing is a genuine mystery.

To be fair, Maddy was a pretty little girl and if she was still alive, she may very well be a hot piece of ass by now. And she'd probably end up on Celebrity Big Brother where we'd get to see her in various states of undress. So for that reason alone, I'm happy for the hunt to continue.

You don't think that might look a little...well...odd? Might go against the core CIA principle of plausible deniability, wouldn't you say?

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but my mum has taken me through the evidence quite convincingly (she got oddly obsessed with the case, for some reason) and I can tell you with some degree of certainty that she's very much not alive.

Do we want to know her conclusion, Burney, or will it be too distressing?

I know, I know. But when the hunt is called off, the teenage Maddy w*nk fantasy dies with it. And that would be the real tragedy of the whole sorry episode.

Oh, basically, the parents (doctors, remember) doped the kids prior to going out for dinner, got the dose wrong, came back from dinner to find Maddy dead, disposed of the body (I can't remember the details on how) and made up the whole abduction cover story.

Absolute tosh. My ITK, who has contacts in the Police :tapssideofnose:, has assured me that all of the doctors holidaying were part of a peedofile ring who allowed one of Hillary Clinton's ghouls to 'borrow' little Maddy for the night and his bestial attentions led to her death so everyone conspired along with Kate and Gerry to conceal Maddy's body. They are all, of course, still very active in the hospitals of The North were they contrive to take up consultancies in peedyatrick units.\

I've said that since day 1. See them quite often at Everton games and have to have to control myself not to say something.

Why? They made a mistake, but not a particularly horrible one, and they have paid such an enormous price that I fail to see how anyone with children can't feel for them.

Burney's mum is wrong, of course. I thought no one believed that nonsense anymore.

You might wish to note she would be 13 now. Would that qualify in your view as "a hot piece of ass"?

Woah there big fella, just back that cart up a bit now while we examine this issue.

You are suggesting that the site could be shut down for what is, patently, nothing more than a tasteless joke? I'll admit that the liberal left is trying hard to impose censorship and thought criminality, but they haven't achieved it yet, and giving in by self-censoring will merely do their work for them.

Don't kow tow to the left, m.

If anything Monty is only making fun of himself suggesting he might have unusual unacceptable sexual preferences.

Monty recently reported on here he was raped in a hot tub but nobody went to the authorities about it.

I know there is zero tolerance for anything which remotely suggests underage kids are sexual beings. I am actually certain if Nabokov had written Lolita now it would never have been published. It is an issue which unites left and right.

Are you a closet socialist, m? There's nothing* wrong with it, of course.

I'd be curious as to the nature of the statistical analysis which allowed you to draw that conclusion, PRSB. Children going missing is not that unusual an occurrence, sadly. Parents who happen to be physicians accidentally giving their 3 year old a drug overdose sounds far more unlikely to me. I think you'd need to be quite cynical to believe their despair was faked and the whole thing was an act.

And Burney's mum wasn't faking anything last night, BTW.

It was actually my first thought on the sorry business too. Doctors are the coldest-hearted *******s in the world. In fact, they are selected for it. And they know all about how to dispose of bodies.

The statistics are quite clear that the parents are always the most likely culprits when a child dies. Abduction is vanishingly rare - particularly from inside a property. Much, much more likely that her parents killed her.

And actually, their behaviour afterwards is what aroused most suspicion. They refused to co-operate fully with police and failed to answer certain key questions at a time when you'd have thought they'd do anything to get their child back. Hardly 'despair'.
