My son got Beats Solo 3 on ear headphones for Xmas - I was very impressed with them both in terms of quality and how much noise they block out.

Not sure why you would want over the ear?

And the on ear ones would push his ears in and hide them just as well. Although you could argue that might accentuate his massive conch.
