Too early to be giving up, Monty.

11 points if Chelsea win, our next three games are easier than theirs, we pick up 3 points and then beat them at their place and it's 5 points and we're still in it. Have faith man, chin up.

Quitting is what we do after they paste us at Stamford Bridge. :-(

I was thinking that the other day. I can't bring myself to do it, though.

I'm actually happy enough for Chelsea to win it this year. Barring Costa and Fabregas, their players are nowhere near as objectionable as they used to be, while their manager actually seems a rather nice sort of a chap, really. In addition, them winning it would have the bonus of making Mourinho look even more of a cünt.

It's what we do after being outfought again by a team like Everton to relinquish a lead and lose the game. Same thing next game at City.

Nope, draw would suit me nicely. But in reality any outcome has a positive angle from our perspective.

Oooh I just checked. The match before the game against Chelsea we kick off 15 minutes earlier than them so have extra recovery time.

Chelsea 0-6 Arsenal :cloud9:

Do we not currently hold the record for 14 consecutive wins in the PL?

Don't want Chelsea to win, nor Spurs. A draw would do me fine.

The lingering (or otherwise) of our title hopes rests on us improving massively in the next few weeks despite having just two poorly matched midfielders to choose from. One of whom is Ramsey who is an utterly **** central midfielder if you are looking to keep the ball.

In other words, it isn't going to happen. There are just too many weaknesses, too many small mistakes.

Would it be wrong to hope that they kick lumps out of each other - like last time?

I would be much more concerned with arresting the Chelsea juggernaut* than the metaphorical pain one may suffer from Spurs moving one point ahead of us in the first week of January (which itself is rather meaningless).

I'm liking your style, Peter. He's world class according to Luis Anaconda and anyone who thinks otherwise needs a new hobby.

Prepare to defend yourself.

I thought of that as well. :-)

But then decided I should be bigger than that. Not sure why. :rubchin:

I didn't, kind of hoping for a points deduction, red cards and injuries

I've reconsidered.

I'm currently imagining Danny Rose and Costa both going in two footed on each other in a right rage. Two red cards, four broken legs.

I don't know why but somewhere in mind I am always convinced that somehow this year will be our year.
I don't know why I must be a bit simple. I still have this hope that Wenger and the team are gonna put it all right.
It still could be done. I know it's easy to say even though last night was pretty **** we seem to not lose games we would have in the past. I wish they could be a little more motivated.

He is a very good footballer. He is just totally unsuited to our midfield as he makes no real attempt to get involved in build up and his positional sense seems to play second fiddle in his brain to the constant desire to get in the box.

You're being nice, I think. He's a pretty good footballer. He should be the creative midfielder at Everton, or Southampton, or Bournemouth.

He shouldn't be anywhere near the Arsenal.

I like Xhaka (in principal), he appears to have everything in his locker. Unfortunately, at this time, that also includes the ability to get sent off, make the most pointless challenges to give away fouls and seems to be involved in a competition to have better hair than Ramsey.

Assuming he could sort out some of the ****tier aspects of his game, he could go on to be a really good player for us.

Plus he can never get a shot on target. Never ever. I mean damn.
