Actually, there's a German market in Enfield. I could go and score a giant Wurst mit Senf und Ketchup.

Primo Levi tells a story about using 'fressen' to describe eating when he was entertaining a couple of chaps from Bayer after the war. They corrected him, at which point he said "I'm sorry. I learnt my German in Auschwitz." :hehe:

Never seen it from up there but it seems right. Reindeer Day today; picked up some furs and a bit of dried meat. For my dogs and cats, you know.

I went to the one in Colmar one year. Nearly consumed my own bodyweight in sausage and similar. Then went and had a look at the Grünewald Christ in the museum, which dented the Christmas spirit a wee bit. :-\

To lie about on all day. Especially the hounds as, being a desert breed, they only have one layer of very thin, fine fur of their own. The cats don't need it really but like to take the piss, try it on a bit.

Nah. If it were Arsenal it would have taken him a lot longer to rise again.

Very good. But I was thinking that that was Wenger on the cross. And Giroud, on the right, reminding him of the heresy of not adhering to the rule that a football team is a big lad upfront and ten other players.
And so on. Santi with the cup of wine.
