Funny thing is, and from what I can tell, Southampton only started with 3 or 4 players from Saturdays win against Everton.
Both sides were predominantly second string.

Ramsey has definitely worsened the team since he's come back.

It highlights one of Wenger's major flaws, he has his favourites within the squad and will play them no matter what.
