Maybe if Root and Butler can dig in then maybe give India 150ish to chase but even that's a stretch....more likely to be bowled out....

Quite a pathetic effort with the bat in all honestly, t. Should be doing much better than that

1st innings in particular. 280 odd on what was a fairly placid surface was pretty poor.

Desperate.....good knock from Baby Boycott but the game was completely over at that stage.

Problem is I don't think India bit 2nil down and this could easily be 4 nil after the next two tests...don't think England have to improve much to beat this lot but can they?

Don't think they can. Golden opportunities with the toss won and even in India's first innings not taken. Hard to bounce back from that. We'll stuff them in England though
