Good riddance. He had an obsession with fitness and diet. Forgetting that Americans are basically very healthy; not much to be gained there. Lets work on fundamental skills and such instead, shall we.

How about not slotting players into unfamiliar positions, and what was that, a 3-1-4-1-1 formation v. Mexico? Dissing the nations professional league seemed rather counterproductive, didn't it?

Yes, he doesn't seem to be very good at this (although, no doubt, many would want him at The Arsenal regardless).

He seems to think he's re-invented football, which works with Team USA, I suppose, up to a point, but not with the old lags at Bayern, for example, who apparently believe the game and their native methods, not to mention their native Bavarian diet, are just fine as they are, what with all the success they've enjoyed over the decades and a' that.

Team USA was probably his dream job, imo.
