workhorse?
I like this term taskmaster. But I've heard it used incorrectly for someone claiming to be the master of tasks. but I am looking for a term like this also. The TaskFuhrer has a nice ring to it.

UPDATE. The job I was doing I am not doing anymore. I have been assigned to another team doing another specific task. This is allowed in the contract as it says they can do such a thing. But it's only for a month then I am in the same boat again. Luckily this task is actually far more interesting and much more senior.
