Nah, don't think so PRSB. Diary was notoriously injury prone even when we bought him at a young age. His junior coach in France described him as 'very fragile' which is probably why we got him for 2mil.

Tragedy, mind. An enormously talented player who, at times, was an absolute joy to watch. PM 2020 about it. ;-)

He had 3 lots of surgery on the ankle after the tackle and his surgeon said it could be career ending. I think we can safely put it in the "didn't help" category
