very important part of our new forward formation is the change in Ozil's role.
For the last 2 years, he was more a Cesc, playing deeper to create chance for Olly with his delivery.
Now he's playing more like Bergy did when he had IWWW up front with him. Those two remind me of how Ozil and Alexis are starting to play.
Feo seems to be a bit Overmarsy atm too.
But I think we could get more goals from Ozil now. Haven't those three got about 6 each? Before the end of October.
If only Iwobi (3 assists?) and Ox (2 goals) can really push up a level.
But Ox has looked good since he got that goal in the EFL. Would have had 2 assists last Sat if Feo had his shooting boots on.
What odds would you have got at the start of the season on both our ex-Saints players suddenly fulfilling their potential?
Still got Rambo to come back, and Olly as our bench option for plan B.
But I do like Ozil scoring regularly.
