We went for pizza and it turned out he couldn't eat tomatoes or garlic. Stifled his choices somewhat.

That's right. Quiet sort of a chap. Not quite the Berserker one might have thought - although I'd imagine he'd have been a handful if riled.

If I recall correctly, he lived in a cabin in the woods and dressed in the skins of the animals he hunted. Small birds nested in his beard and his best friend was an otter.

I definitely recall that he had a formidable misus.
