So if the Black and White Minstrels had joined the army they could still carry on with their act?

The amazing thing is that no-one's taken it down yet. :hehe:

Why not. Everyone likes a good concert party.

They'll never repeat that, will they? :-(

'You is all poofs', etc.

Certainly. How grateful we used to be when ENSA turned up to entertain us, even though we referred to them as Every Night Something Awful. :hehe:

George Formby, Vera Lynn, The Andrews Sisters... magical times, r.

I want to hear "Whispering Grass" now. Lovely.

'Cultural Marxism' is a term invented by barmy right wingers and promoted by lunatics like Brevik, while having nothing at all do do with actual Marxism.

Just thought I'd point that out.

I don't think I have, but last night I found myself idly ruminating on the possibilities of spending a night in a suite at the Dorchester with Mary Berry, 5 grams of coke and 3 Ukrainian hookers.

Some of the images conjured were eye-watering.

You always do. It's a useful shorthand, though, so

Have you listened to the Sandy Denny version?

What would Mary Berry be doing? :-( You wouldn't want to be touched by her leathery talons imo.

She'd have to take her teeth out to make herself useful and she'd probably need help with that. :puke:

Ink Spots, for me. I'll check that one out though.

No, that's horrid, I'm afraid. Just sing wot the songwriter wrote.
