Nobody can afford to be too fussy nowadays, I'm afraid. We've homoed and women's-libbed ourselves into impotence so our governments are over a barrel. We need more people and everybody knows it.

Yeah, we do. Despite paying ourselves far more than we are actually worth, people are worried now about their ability to afford their own, ie: Children, so we need to import lots of cheaper folk. If only because they are .. well .. cheaper.
