someone to “take this outside”, you kind of need to avoid getting punched unconscious in order to retain your dignity.

Sounds like he collapsed afterwards. His condition is 'serious' apparently.

There is little dignity in an ICU, it's true.

Still, fair play, it must have been a decent punch.

Do you go to intensive care for *that*? No wonder the NHS is in the toilet. Financially speaking, I mean.

It's in Strasbourg, so it's your taxes paying for that one, mate. :-)

Actually he's in Belgium so the poor chap won't be able to go to hospital. :-(

In foreign countries if people become unwell they simply pass away, I'm afraid, since these places, lacking 'our NHS', have no doctors or nurses available.

Fair point. Damn silly place for a parliament anyway. They should've put it somewhere decent like Monte Carlo.

Sounds like the chap who punched Steven Woolfe certainly had the knack.

UKIP will be fast running out of leadership candidates at this rate.

In fairness, I gather his brother used to play upfront for Bolton Wanderers so perhaps he felt he'd seen it all.

Still, there it is. Royal Marines 1-0 Fat Sam.

Why did they put it there? Was it meant to be symbolic of Franco-German healing or somesuch haoppy horsesh1t?

He's now in a car chase with les flics, apparently. I expect to hear of him jumping the Swiss border on a motorcycle.

Sounds like Woolfe's alright.
