It is in settings.. but not everyone seems to be able to do it

Only moderators can have avatars, I believe. Basically there's a tickbox somewhere in the forum admin settings that someone is too lazy to go and tick.

I have taken it as a personal insult seeing as I was a mod on the old board... let any old riff raff become mods now
