I've been ****ed out of my job.

Great timing. When someone says they want to talk to you and it's nothing to worry about tell them to go **** themselves.

Oh bad luck, old chap :-(

Am I right in thinking that the weakness of sterling had led to a spike in visitors to the UK? So you'll be job-hunting in a healthy market?

Best of luck; I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine. It could lead to an exciting new opportunity.

Well it's not all dead and buried.

They want to keep me in some basic role possibly. I will find out next week.
They are shutting down the movie dept I was with. If I can stay I will for a while for the money but I don't trust them.

Tourism is booming but this company is corporate and stuff. I am not impressed after all the stuff I had to go through to actually get in here. But I am concerned now as soon there will be a household where nobody might be working.
I'll have to sell my car and move to a studio flat :-(

Maybe I will use this as the point where I can find a new industry to concentrate on although this is difficult.

Absolutely. but first thing here is to pay the bills.
I would really extremely frustrated if I have to use the savings account.

Well hopefully not. I put as much as I can away each month for future projects.
Not wanting to piss that way on rent and other stuff.
