I met him years ago in the Morpeth Arms on Millbank. Seemed nice enough. Probably my least favourite Python, though, if I'm being brutally honest.

Sad news, m. Lovely man as well as being very funny. Last time I saw him was in the Red Lion in Highgate. He was with Michael Palin and some youngish blonde and a baby. I took it to be a daughter and grandchild but turns out it was wife and new child (must be about 6/7 years ago now as the kid is 7). So when all's said and done the boy has done good for himself. wd TJ - he's clearly been a very naughty boy
