Brilliant. He doesn't actually ahve the money to buy the shares, 'Right now, with what we're facing, over £15billion of projects, I cannot do both.' and there's no evidence at all that Kroenke would sell.

They might as well publish a story saying, 'Sir C wants to buy Tottenham and put the club into administration. "I do not have the necessary funds at present," he said, "but as soon as I do I'm calling Joe Lewis with a mega offer."'
