would skip qualifying rounds and go straight to a final three where Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United would contest the trophy on an annual basis.

The rest of Europe would compete for a lesser award, possible known as the Feeder Cup, and the best players in this tournament be given the non-negotiable option to sign for one of the three CL teams.

According to Twitter this morning, Bellerin is going to Barcelona and Sanchez to Man City, so you appear to be right on the money here.
